Dive R1748 Highlights Oregon Offshore
Oregon Offshore: During ROPOS Dive R1748 the 200 m oily cable OSHYW1 on the tool basket was removed and positioned on the seafloor. One end was to low voltage node LV01C at port J03 and the other end was connected to the Deep Profiler vertical mooring (DP01B). Water samples were collected with Nisking bottles on ROPOS next to the MMP profiler. Installation beacons were recovered from the base of the Deep Profiler mooring and from the top orange float.
