Dive R1759 Highlights Southern Hydrate Ridge
During this dive at the summit of Southern Hydrate Ridge, the extension cable SUM1W2 (386 m)was installed from the position of the junction box LJ01B to the short-period seismometer OBSSPA103 site to the SE. The MJ01B junction box was used as an anchor – it will be moved to its installation site once all extension cables are installed. The seismometer will be installed on a follow-on dive.
