Welcome to the VISIONS '16 Log. Follow our 39-day, 3-leg expedition on the R/V Sikuliaq. The goal of this cruise is to complete the second year of the Operations and Maintenance component of the Cable Array Observatory, which includes recovering and installing >100 cabled instruments on the seafloor and in the water column from depths of 10,000 ft beneath the oceans' surface. Here, daily updates will be provided, as well as a look-ahead at follow-on operations.
