Amy Larsen

Senior project

Amy grew up watching Robert Ballard documentaries and visiting many ships
and maritime museums. She is very excited to work with Jason because as a
child she was fascinated with Jason Jr. Amy will be a Junior in Oceanography
at the University of Washington in the fall. She enjoys both chemical
oceanography and the geology of the sea floor. She keeps up her interest in
bioengineering by volunteering as the President of Bioengineers Without
Boarders. In her free time, she enjoys biking, climbing, snowboarding, and
volunteering for King County Search and Rescue. Amy has a clownfish (Fishy
McFishface) as well as several corals that she enjoys caring for.
