My name is Brison, and I have just finished my Junior year in the Oceanography Dept. at the University of Washington. I have been involved with a year long internship with the REU program in which I proved that zooplankton are consuming micro plastics in Puget Sound. Since last summer I have been a assistant scientist with the Ocean Inquiry Project and instruct local high school and community college students how to operate and interpret the sampling and data retrieved with different oceanographic equipment. I have also been volunteer this year for our regional Science Olympiad held at Seattle Central College in which I proctored a dynamic planet test that I wrote. I am excited to be apart of Visions’18 and look forward to the experience.
