Creatures of the Deep: Adaptations Allowing Organisms to live in the Deep Sea
This video summarizes the types of animals seen at the VISIONS '13 dive sites, as well as the behavioral and morphological adaptations possessed by megafauna in the deep sea. These adaptations allow the 'creatures' to survive in a harsh environment characterized by high pressure, extremely cold temperatures, zero light availability, and scarce food availability.
