I am an undergraduate at the University of Washington in the School of Oceanography entering my junior year. I will be majoring in Oceanography with and an emphasis in chemistry and two minors in Fisheries and Marine Biology. I have done some field work in the Caribbean with conchs and sea turtles and have joined the Gagnon lab researching corals all over the world. For the VISIONS 14 Cruise, I will be taking some biological samples from methane seeps and tracing the sulfur through the trophic system with isotopic analysis. As for non-scientific hobbies, I am enjoy sailing everything from sailboard (wind surfing) to 40 foot keelboats.
