Insights from Educators at Sea

The UW School of Oceanography has a long history of taking educators to sea. As leads on the REVEL program, John Delaney and Veronique Robigou provided over 80 K-12 teachers an opportunity to participate in sea-going research and work alongside deep-sea scientists. This program ended in 2006, but John and Deb Kelley continued to take teachers to sea. This cruise welcomes Cheryl Greengrove, a professor at UW Tacoma, Julie Nelson, a professor from Grays Harbor College and Kevin Eyer, a middle school teacher from Kingston Middle School. Below they share their experiences onboard.
