Katie Keil

Senior project

I am a second year Masters student in the School of Marine and Environmental Affairs and Program on Climate Change at the University of Washington. My research interests are diverse, but my current work involves creating a sensitivity index of pelagic organisms to ocean acidification and testing whether field observations support findings from the literature regarding relative sensitivities. With an interdisciplinary background in environmental sciences, I am passionate about bridging the gap between scientists and policy-makers and utilizing applied science to solve complex environmental and societal problems.
