I am currently a senior in the Department of Earth and Space Sciences (ESS) working towards a geobiology degree. Since the end of my sophomore year, I have been conducting non-traditional isotope geochemistry research in ESS looking at  Mg, Cu, Zn and K isotopes. I am particularly interested in the astrobiological implications of non-traditional isotopes, and how biology on earth interacts with mineral surfaces. My ultimate goal, after graduating with my undergraduate degree, is to work towards a PhD in astrobiology and geochemistry.
