Leg 4: We are grateful to the Leg 4 students – this Leg was particularly intense with shifting schedules to accomodate weather and operational considerations and they adjusted like pros. They got to see amazing sites at Southern Hydrate Ridge – bubbling methane plumes issuing from Einstein's Grotto and the "Crack", blocks of methane ice on the seafloor, and weird "life" including the Neptunea snail garden.
