I am a 3rd-year student at the University of Washington, majoring in Oceanography and minoring in Marine Biology. My interests in Oceanography is primarily in Marine Geology and Geophysics.  I personally am interested in studying seafloor fluid communities, especially methane areas. I also find the geological and physical dynamics around methane seeps and hydrothermal vents on the seafloor and deep sea technology to discover more of these areas very intriguing. I am very excited to participate in this year’s VISIONS cruise where I’ll get the chance to learn more about these areas!
