My name is Lauren and I am an undergraduate at Queens College, CUNY. I am interested in studying marine geophysics. This past winter I was involved in my first oceanographic cruise. I was selected to take part in the second leg of the BRAVOSEIS experiment in the Bransfield Strait, located between the Southern Shetland Islands and the Antarctic Peninsula. During VISIONS’19 I hope to gain more experience working on a oceanographic research vessel and to work with ROV Jason.
