The second most dominant species of Gastropod at Axial Seamount is the Glob Snail. These tiny snails with a brown high-spiral shell are commonly found living among the limpets and tube worms on hydrothermal vents.

Pyconogonids are abundant on many sulfide structures in the vent fields within the caldera of Axial Seamount.
