July 27th, 2026 12:11 local (Pacific): In preparation to mobilize aboard the R/V Revelle next week, nineteen 48-foot trucks full of scientific equipment are headed down to Newport, Oregon this week. Eight students will be joining the RCA science, APL engineering, and ROV Jason teams for the VISIONS ’26 expedition, which will leave port August 9th at ~1130.
May 19th, 2026 15:26 local (Pacific): Cruise preparation is underway, and gear is being assembled and tested in Seattle prior to shipping to Newport. Mobilization will begin on August 5th. More updates soon!
