Owen Coyle

Owen Coyle is a graduate student in the University of Washington School of Oceanography. Part earth scientist, part computer programmer, he is interested in understanding how the behaviors and ecology of tiny marine organisms translate to global-scale impacts. Working in the Grünbaum Lab, he is interested in field-based video techniques and behavioral modeling. He is very excited to be joining the OOI team as a student and TA this year, where he will learn more about shipboard image collection and have the opportunity to guide his fellow new and future scientists.
