My name is Bill Medwedeff. I am junior at the University of Washington majoring in geophysics. I was attracted to the Visions ’14 expedition by a fascination with Earth’s environments. I have always wanted to learn about the natural history of places foreign to me and the ocean is no exception. In my free time, I enjoy backpacking, mountain biking, and skiing during the winter.
