Personnel conducting operations related to the OOI RSN horizontal directional drilling efforts were evacuated early Friday morning, March 11, 2011, when a tsunami warning was issued for the Oregon coast. The all clear in Pacific City was given in the late morning after a reported surge of only 6 inches. Drilling resumed around noon and the crew will be working through the weekend.
