Hello! My name is Isabelle, and I just completed my first year of college at the University of Washington. I am double majoring in marine biology and oceanography and basically love anything to do with the ocean. I am so excited to be a part of this cruise to develop not only my field and research experience but also expand my knowledge of the deep sea. I am currently still exploring my fields of interest but hope to someday work in studying the evolution of the deep-sea floor and its creatures. My dream is to do research work on ships like the R/V Atlantis so I cannot wait to learn and explore!
