Hello! My name is Alex and I am a graduate student in the University of Washington’s Mechanical Engineering Department. My research is currently focused on wave-by-wave control for Wave Energy Converters, but I am passionate about all the various engineered systems that enable oceanographic and marine research! Another interest of mine is in education and getting more people excited about the oceans. I am especially looking forward to working with the ROV Jason and experiencing life at sea!
