Madeline Talbot
Madeline Talbot is a fourth year oceanography student at the University of Washington. As a transfer student, Madeline’s interest in both water and geology have led her from the land into the ocean. She is excited for the opportunity to work with the Regional Cabled Array and visit a submarine volcano, Axial Seamount, while meeting people with a variety of backgrounds and specialties. Seeing a hydrothermal vent field in real-time and becoming familiar with the technology that scientists utilize to do so is a dream scenario. Madeline is looking forward to new connections made, both intellectually and socially, as well as the immersion that comes with an extended voyage.
