Josie Adams (Leg 1)

Hi! My name is Josie Adams and I’m a third year oceanography student at the University of Washington. This will be my first experience going to sea aboard a research vessel, and I am excited to experience life at sea and learn more about the incredible network of sensors that the Regional Cabled Array consists of. I work at the School of Oceanography’s Argo Float Lab, and I look forward to seeing the application of other types of ocean technology in the field and how that data is applied to current research regarding climate change, marine seismology, ocean acidification, and other pressing marine issues.
