The Dory boat used to take the drill team out for the Southern Conduit bubble test. 

This image shows bubbles at the surface coming from the hole where the 5000 ft Southern Conduit ended. The bubbles were created by the drill team pushing air through the conduit from shore. The test was done to confirm that the drill came out at the target location...the bubbles were only 20 m off from the target. The precise location will be assessed by divers when the weather improves.

Drilling begins again after the installation of the 12" casing. 

This 12" casing is installed into the drilling pilot hole to add stability and to prevent it from collapsing.
