Rachel  first sailed with the OOI Regional Cabled Array team on VISIONS’18 as a UW School of Oceanography undergraduate participant. She began working with the team in 2019, sailing on the VISIONS’19, became a staff member in 2020 following graduation, and  in 2021 became a Research Scientist expanding her work with the group to include assisting with QA/QC efforts, documentation of RCA infrastructure, cruise preparation, and co-leading social media efforts.
