Hey there! My name is Genevieve, and I’m a marine biology major at UW. I’ve never done anything like this cruise before so I am excited to see what it is like. I love learning about the organisms in the ocean, especially crabs. Some of my hobbies include making art, sewing, and singing. One of my favorite things to do is go out during low tides to search for critters (especially crabs). I am looking forward to learning more about real life data collection and research on the boat, and to meet people and scientists who are passionate about marine sciences like me.
