Hello! I’m a pastry chef-turned-scientist at the University of Washington, majoring in marine biology with a love for all things ichthyology. Debbie Kelley was my biggest inspiration for applying to the Visions cruise, and I would highly recommend her oceanography class! I have always been interested in the animals that live in the deep sea, so I’m very excited to be participating in a cruise that goes out there! When I’m not on a ship (or baking cakes!), I enjoy playing D&D and streaming a variety of random video games on Twitch. I excel at functioning on 3 hours of sleep, drinking coffee, being a goofball in general – and I’m definitely looking forward to seeing what life on board is all about!
