Pablo Sobron (Leg 4)

Pablo Sobron develops sensing technologies in robotic Earth and planetary exploration that include Curiosity, Perseverance, and Rosalind Franklin rover missions and future missions to explore alien oceans in Europa and Enceladus.  Pablo leads the InVADER team that will survey and sample hydrothermal vents in Axial during Leg 4 of this year’s cruise campaign.  This project, funded by NASA, is broadening the scientific knowledge and techniques available to ocean sciences today through transformative innovations in both technology and science operations for deep sea missions on- and off-Earth.
